Popular in artisan baking, this Round Proving Basket from Daily Bake allows you to prove and imprint the baskets rustic traditional design onto artisan breads.

Before first use, handwash the basket with a brush and warm water. After washing, place the basket in the oven to dry for 20 minutes (120-130°C). Then place on a drying rack at room temperature to completely dry. When dry, spray your new Proving Basket lightly with cooking oil and dust with flour. Gently tap the back of the basket with your hand to remove any excess flour.

Before each use, the Proving Basket should be firmly tapped to remove any excess flour or left over fragments remaining in the basket. If required, spray the Proving Basket lightly with cooking oil and dust with flour.

Brush the basket every 3-4 weeks with a dry brush.
